When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. When you use Propted, we store the content you create (topics, comments, upvotes, and projects you mark as booked) along with your chosen username.
Your information is used to run the forum: showing your username and photo next to your posts, keeping you signed in, and maintaining your profile. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Your username, profile photo, and everything you post (topics, comments, and upvote counts) are publicly visible. Your email address is never shown publicly. Projects you mark as booked are private and only shown to you, aside from anonymous aggregate counts on project pages.
We use cookies to keep you signed in and remember your theme preference. We also use Google Analytics to understand overall site usage; it sets its own cookies. We do not use advertising cookies.
Propted runs on Supabase for data storage and authentication, and Google for sign-in and analytics. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
You can delete your own topics and comments at any time from the site. To delete your account and all associated data, email us and we will take care of it.
